Are You Destitute Like Me?

Are You Destitute Like Me?

It had been a tough twenty-four hours wondering where Andrew was. I left a message on the answering machine at my school along with sending an email to my building principal informing them I had a family emergency.  It was too painful to admit my autistic son was missing.

Getting down on my knees I prayed for divine intervention.  Lately, I had been consumed with work and several freelance writing projects believing Andrew was overcoming the ordeal he went through during his first year in college. Memories began to fill my mind causing my pain to intensify.

Suddenly, I had an overwhelming urge to email him.  On the second day of his disappearance around 8:00 p.m., I received an email from him.

Andrew was in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.  He had run away from home, because of an argument he had with his father.  Andrew was alone in an unfamiliar place.  It was cold, damp and dark!  Fortunately, a homeless man around fifty came up to him and asked Andrew if he was destitute like him.  This man warned Andrew about the real danger lurking in the shadowy streets and convinced Andrew to go home.  The man assisted Andrew in purchasing a return ticket and took him to a public library nearby in an effort to get him off the street.  Andrew waited at the library with the man, until it was almost time for his bus.

The homeless man described the cold facts to Andrew about not having an education or having a family one could depend on.  He had mentioned about having a relative who was a multimillionaire.  This family member would not give one dime in helping him get off the street and turn his life around. He was left to fend for himself.  This unique individual was happy to be healthy, despite his present circumstances.

From meeting this stranger, Andrew learned to be grateful for what he had.  Upon returning home, Andrew wanted to go back to school and get a degree, but he admitted having trouble with memory, organizational skills, staying on task and communicating with others.

Andrew and I heard that spirulina had remarkable, healing qualities.  We did not know if it would remove toxins from the human body, like mercury. But, we decided to give it a try.  Yes, that’s right! I took it in the morning along with Andrew beginning in December 2006.

The first sign of a positive effect happened a few months later.  I no longer had gingivitis.  No more dental appointments for me!

The first sign of improvement in Andrew was his muscle tone and memory alertness.  He used to lean when walking.  Now, he was standing and walking like anyone else.  When he began to show immediate response to any form of conversation such as maintaining eye contact and not stuttering, I knew he had discovered his own miracle.

In March 2007 we purchased a new oven, but it did not fit where the previous one had been.  It was Andrew who gave correct suggestions about how to do the rewiring and the removal of some paneling.  He assisted his father with the measurements. At first, his father thought he was wrong and argued with him.  Andrew convinced his father he was right!

Andrew was beginning to develop his true gifts.  As a little boy, before the onset of autism, Andrew was dynamite at fixing things and was a quick thinker.  He had the ability to second guess situations, knowing when to open the door for others and what tools his father needed to fix items.

In June 2007, Andrew began to notice what he had missed out on.  He was not driving a car, nor was he dating anyone.  Andrew became more determined than ever to go back to college and do something with his life.

Two months later, Andrew was accepted back in college on probationary terms.  He refused any form of accommodations stating he no longer needed them.  Andrew attended college as a full-time student making all As in both the fall and spring semesters.    When his father and I praised him, Andrew only smiled.  I could not help but think, 'It's nice to have you back.'

Amazing Green Food

Recently, I did a mini-session entitled, 'Mother Nature's Most Perfect Food.'  I created a powerpoint to share this amazing discovery.  Two years ago, my son's life was in turmoil, which affected the whole family.  He was a college-dropout with no future.  Four months after he began taking this green food supplement, I noticed a difference.  He was more focused and better attuned to the world around him.  Currently, he is back in college as a full-time student making all As.  As for myself, I no longer sweat the small stuff.  What is this amazing stuff?  It's called 'spirulina.'  I purchased mine from http://www.iherb.com.  iHerb is a discount warehouse.  They sell more than 12,000 health-related products.  If interested, go to iherb.com and check them out.  The following is a coupon code for $5.00 off.  Coupon code:  BER298

Law of Attraction Part One

Over the weekend, I went to a shop I have not been to in a long time.  It's called 'The Kindred Spirit.'  I just thought I would stop and say 'hi' to the owner.  She's there on Saturdays and the rest of the time I am not sure what she does.  As I walked into the store, I noticed a tarot card reader named, "Rhiannon."  Now, I have always heard that the best reading comes from someone who does not know you.  She appeared nervous, quite nervous.  Over the years, I have never received a good reading from anyone.  What would make her different?  But, I did it because I felt she needed the money.  She was jumping around in trying to tap into my psyche.  I remained pleasant and open.  Most of what she discussed was what I consider residentual left-over.  Feelings that have already occurred.  However, the one thing she was right about was I do too much.  I over-extend myself.  I have heard that before from past readings.  I just did not know how to drop projects I was working on.  Instead, she suggested a schedule and not to drop two of my biggest projects.  Since I have been manifesting additional wealth and prosperity, I did not want to stay with one project.  I designed the schedule based on her suggestions. I figure what will come will come based on plugging away at it.  Well, I have to say I feel better and more attuned into my writing craft.

I do believe in herbal supplements to stay focus.  I do believe in taking HGH.  I am keeping a journal on reversing the aging process.  I remain faithful to my belief which I learned from watching 'The Secret.'  I do believe in the law of attraction.  If that is so, why would I bother with a tarot card reading?  Perhaps, it was to hear the words, "you are doing too much?"  "You need to focus on what is the most important and aligned yourself with that."  Maybe, it was the law of attraction that brought the tarot reader into my life.

A New Look at Life

A few months ago, my mother passed over to the other side.  I was not able to get back into writing, until I received several wonderful emails asking for more stories from the Slab Town series.  I will be honest.  I am involved in other projects, but will complete the series of stories for UFO Digest, if Dirk decides to publish them.  Currently, I believe we are in charge of our own destiny after watching the DVD 'The Secret.'  I believe in the law of attraction.  It makes perfect sense.

I am manifesting good into my life by being thankful for the things I have.  Everyday since the end of December, I have realized just how thankful I am.  And, yes, I do want more into my life.

Currently, I am taking HGH to maintain my hectic lifestyle.  I am keeping a different blog on blogspot and will update this blog with results in the near future. As for now, I am happy.  I know everyone can be.  Each day is a universe unto itself.  You just need to believe. More to come...
